Memphis is great! On Location 2011 not so good, hopefully they address whatever in-fighting happened and make 2012 much better. My film had its world premiere at On Location Memphis in 2011, but no one from the festival introduced my film, the projectionist started the film 10 seconds into the opening, the audience sat in the theater in the dark a good minute after it was over, we had to stumble out of the theater in the dark and no one from the festival invited me to conduct a Q&A. Oh, and when I got to the festival, they didn’t have a badge for me. It was a very disappointing experience for a film’s world premiere.
