I’ve screened my last two short films at Buried Alive and have had a blast both times out. You can really see how much love the people involved have for horror and for indie filmmaking in general. And, the fact that the screenings take place in a theater with as much history and character as the Plaza really adds to the experience. As long as I’m making weird, subversive films, I’ll be submitting them to Buried Alive!

Buried Alive film festival is one of the most independent and horror-centric festivals that I have been to and yet had one of the most impressive international line-ups that I have seen. There was obviously a LOT of thought put into it. Between the international guests that were there, short film blocks and features, the $30 for an all-access pass was a steal. I can’t wait for what those guys come up with next year and have definitely made Buried Alive a staple for my annual festivals.
